"Her Last Judgement" is the debut short of writer/director Chantelle Taggart, and is set to premiere at BAFTA and BIFA qualifying Women X Film Festival in September 2026.
It's a surreal fusion of dark comedy, drama, and theatre which lies somewhere between Inside No. 9 and... outside of something else.
Director's note
Chantelle writes:
"...with "Her Last Judgement", myself and the team are looking to challenge the expectations of masculinity - to stoke conversation and confront (and hopefully subvert) expectations.
All too often women appear to be shut out of the conversation, so I wanted to utilise brazen "laddish" comedy to facilitate this inversion of what society deems appropriate for women to say and do... because in truth, who cares about that?!..."
